At Duke, I intend to double major in Mechanical Engineering and Economics with a plan to pursue an MBA. Recreationally, I am a Tour Guide for the Undergraduate Admissions Office, a member of the Duke Authenticity Project, a contributing writer to the DukEngineer Magazine, and a flag football player. In high school, I was President and Co-Founder of the STEM Advocacy Conference of Texas (SACOT), a program for high-school students to advocate for increased support and funding for STEM activities. I served on the Senior Staff and as a Project Manager for Chap Research, an innovation and R&D program. I also led FRC 2468 Team Appreciate, an established robotics team, as a Chairman’s Presenter and the Pit Manager – all while doing it with a smile!
