I was born in Egypt but grew up in North Carolina. In high school, I was heavily involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, and my Boy Scout troop. I enjoy playing sports and working out. In the future, I hope to enroll in the 4+1: BSE+Master of Engineering Management program at Duke and go on to own a biomedical engineering company. I am very excited to be a Clark Scholar, as it will give me the opportunity to meet new people with similar goals and improve my leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
